Josh is in the army, serving in Afghanistan, when his wife Paige gets the phone call that every Army spouse dreads. Her husband was injured, and had to have both of his legs amputated. The book goes through the many ups and downs of Josh’s recovery, both mentally and physically. It also talks about other hard topics such as loss and PTSD, and issues that arise in their marriage as Josh and Paige tried to move forward and gain some sense of normalcy.
