There were a lot of hard times and a lot of tears, but through God's grace and glory, she fought through it all and came out on the other side as a shining testament of God's healing power. I highly recommend adding this book to your collection as a reminder that no matter what you've done and what you've lived through, God can still use you to His glory. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Keri Schmidt -- This helped me in multiple aspects of my life. : As a recovery alcoholic and the grief of loosing my mother to cancer, this book showed me that I can overcome anything in my life if I just turn it over to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I dealt with my moms illness by drinking. I knew I was about to loose my best friend. Her family did not understand why I dealt with her illness and passing the way I did. They packed up all her things, and some of mine since I lived with her, behind my back and quit talking to me. We all deal with grief over in our own way. Instead of trying to love me and comfort me they just talked about me behind my back and shut me out. It took me years to come to terms with my moms passing. Today I have been sober for almost 18 months. I have overcome several obstacles and made a wonderful life for myself and my 2 girls. If it wasn’t for my faith in Jesus Christ I don’t know where I would be today. Today I have an amazing job, 2 beautiful girls that love me, and a healthy life. Thank you to Angie for showing me that there is life after hardships. I go to bed thanking my Lord and Savior and wake each morning thanking Him for another day. Thank you Angie for teaching and showing a better way to live! I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs guidance or healing in life. It taught me how to live on lives terms.
